A lawyer at a leading Midlands law firm has received a top industry accolade.
Medical negligence lawyer Rachael Flanagan, an associate at Wright Hassall, has been accredited as a Senior Litigator by the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
The accreditation recognises Rachael’s achievements in representing clients in medical negligence and personal injury cases for more than 10 years.
Rachael represents clients in a variety of claims including misdiagnosis of cancer, orthopaedic injury claims, birth injury cases, road traffic accidents and accidents at work where life-changing injuries have been suffered.
She said: “It is an honour to have been recognised as a Senior Litigator by APIL.
“All victims of medical negligence deserve to be given specialist legal advice to help resolve often complex cases.
“This accreditation helps to recognise that victims are receiving the very best expert advice.”
Jeanette Whyman, head of Wright Hassall’s medical negligence team, said: “Rachael has shown exceptional dedication and has worked tirelessly to ensure she achieves the very best result for her clients.
“This accolade recognises her many years of experience and her expertise in representing victims of medical negligence and it is thoroughly deserved.”
APIL is a not-for-profit organisation which has campaigned for the rights of injured people.
Its accreditation scheme recognises lawyers who have at least five years of experience handling personal injury claims and is overseen by an independent Academic Quality Council.
