Not attended an employment tribunal before? Do you find the possibility intimidating?
This Mock Tribunal will be an immersive simulation of the real thing. With HR professionals and decision makers in mind, the session will allow you to experience, first-hand, the hearing of evidence, cross-examination, submissions and the final decision from the 'Judge' based on a challenging scenario many businesses face.
We are delighted to be running this session in collaboration with St Philips Chambers, an award winning multi-disciplinary set of barristers, widely recognised as one of the most forward-looking chambers in the UK. They will undertake the roles of Counsel for the Claimant (employee), Counsel for the Respondent (employer) and the Judge.
Members of our employment team will act as witnesses at the tribunal. The team on the day will include Tina Chander, the head of our employment team. She is a qualified barrister and solicitor and brings with her vast experience in advising both employees and employers on the tribunal process.
