Ann is an Intellectual Property and Commercial Law specialist with over 20 years’ experience.
About Ann
Having worked in house prior to joining Wright Hassall, Ann comes to problems very much from the client’s perspective.
Ann is a pragmatic problem solver with excellent international legal expertise and experience balanced with strong business acumen. Proven people manager/team builder, securing prestigious awards and nominations.
Knowledge and experience covers commercial contracts, all aspects of IP law, IP strategy, marketing, sponsorship, licensing and EU & national government contracts.
Ann manages to take complex technical law and make it easy to understand, not an easy thing to do.
Experience
Ann has advised on numerous EU & UK funded research agreements, complex IP licences and sales of IP assets. She also has solid experience in the creation of IP based joint ventures and research contracts.
Career
Ann qualified in 2000 and worked for two regional law powerhouses before moving in house. She spent a decade in the Netherlands before moving back to the UK to work in the Aerospace industry. She joined Wright Hassall as Commercial Practice Lead in September ’24 and has set about strengthening and developing the commercial team.

Interests
Outside work Ann’s interests include property development, coaching/mentoring and growing odd vegetables. When not attending to those she can be found with her family exploring the UK in Freda, their trusty VW camper.
