About Gurjit
Gurjit is a paralegal specialising in conveyancing for Registered Providers.
Gurjit deals with shared ownership plot sales and staircasing transactions, preserved right to buy, right to acquire and right to buy sales, surrenders and regrants and assignments of existing leasehold properties and bulk transfers of dwellings from housebuilders under the section 106 regime. Gurjit also has extensive experience of the Mortgage Rescue Scheme.
Currently her work includes secured lending and lease transactions. Gurjit has also recently become involved in planning applications. Gurjit’s previous experience includes working on mortgage rescue transactions, renewal leases, sales and purchases. She is experienced in dealing with Land Registration and preparing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns.
Gurjit has experience of working with a broad range of clients from individuals through to multi-national organisations.

Experience
- Successfully assisted in a secured lending transaction where a company had a very tight deadline for completion, this transaction was complicated by previous lending secured against the property.
- Assisted on the sale of a company’s portfolio of properties – Gurjit was involved in collating the title documents and created an impressive electronic document portal which enabled potential buyers to view all relevant documentation quickly and in the most cost effective way.
Career
Gurjit has completed Part II of the Institute of Legal Executives. She has been able to progress in her role and increase her knowledge through on the job training with the support of the solicitors in her team.
Interests
Gurjit enjoys music, dancing and diy projects. She also likes spending time with her family which usually involves riding bikes and playing football.
